Embroidery
“Krusa” in Dalmål means to decorate. Laska-herringbone stitch, appliqué and blackwork are some of the techniques used in the traditional Leksands folk costume. You can find these intricate embroideries on the womens´ bodices, hanging pockets, scarves and mittens or the mens´ breeches and coats.
Be inspired by tradition and create something new and individual to yourself.
