TASTER
A TASTER is a half day introduction to traditional Swedish handicraft.
Whether you are a first timer or identify as ”Craft Curious” a Taster class is for you!
We´ll explore the colorful heritage of Dalarna Folk Art with lot of samples before getting a hands on experience of traditional craft making.
How long is a TASTER?
A taster is around 4 hours. We start with a Swedish fika while our Creative Guide gives you a short presentation and shares samples for inspiration. Then its time for you to get hands on with guidance and make a unique memento to take home.
Who can do it?
Creativity has no age, a TASTER is suitable for anyone between 5 to 95. Children need to be accompanied by an adult, we welcome multi generational families as our guests, for a fun shared experience.
WORKSHOP
A WORKSHOP is a full day experience in our spacious studio surrounded by inspiration.
Looking for a hands-on Swedish Craft experience? A full day Workshop will give you time to explore at your own pace.
Suitable for all levels, your Craft Guide is with you all day to give you encouragement and answer any question.
How long is a WORKSHOP?
A workshop is 7 hours including breaks. We start with a Swedish fika at 9 am while your Guide gives a short presentation and shares samples for inspiration. Then its time for you to get hands-on with guidance, we take a break for lunch and finish around 4 pm.
Who can do it?
Creativity has no age, a WORKSHOP is suitable for anyone between 5 to 95. Children need to be accompanied by an adult, we welcome multi generational families as our guests, for a fun shared experience.
WEEKEND
A CREATIVE WEEKEND, stretches from Friday night welcome dinner, to Sunday lunch.
Do you have previous craft experience, looking to broaden your know-how? Book a creative Weekend to immerse yourself in making without distractions. The studio is all set up for you, with inspirational materials and all the tools you need.
How long is a weekend?
We start Friday 5 pm with a tour of the studio, starting up our projects and a welcome dinner. Saturday is full day of creativity and we wrap it up by lunch Sunday 2pm.
Who can do it?
Suitable for anyone with some prior craft experience.
Small groups ensure you can immerse yourself in the making and we can accommodate for individual requests. From 16 years and up.
